"Dearest Kpoene',

Thank you so much for making me such a gorgeous dress. Everyone commented on how fabulous it looked - both on me and as a dress in general. I will send you photos as soon as I have a chance to do so.
Thank you again!"

"Dear Kpoene',

Well we did it, and had an amazing wondrous time of it all. I wish I could have recorded all the compliments I received--on both dresses--so that you could bask in them.

Truly the wedding dress was perfect and it was a breezy day, it fluttered as I walked, and no Marilyn moments... .I will be sure to send you photographs. It was so fun to wear and absolutely perfect.

Thank you for everything!"

Love,

We are in San Francisco, CA

2. How much does a Mignonette Bridal dress cost?

We are dedicated to making you the dress of your dreams. At the same time, we understand that not everyone can afford to break the bank for a garment they might only wear once. Since we want everyone to experience the joy of having a custom gown, we will work with you to make a dress that fits your body and your budget perfectly.

3. How long does it take? What is the process like?

It usually takes about 1-3 months to custom make a dress, depending on the fabrics, intricacy, and time of year. In some cases it can take longer or shorter to produce a dress. Please give us at least 4-5 weeks before your ceremony to produce your dress.

The Process of Making A Custom Mignonette Dress:

(to see what it takes to make the Anne Dress, click here for a guide on our blog)

Kpoene' will meet with you for an initial consultation to discuss design ideas, fit, and style.
She will work with you to create sketches and start the design of your dress.
You will discuss budget, ceremony, dress delivery date, etc.

If you do not have fabric already, we will take you fabric-shopping and help you select materials that will fit your budget and your vision for your dress. We are trained fabric experts and will teach you about the differences in fabric weights, types, and prices.

After taking your measurements, we will create a pattern of your dress in muslin.Throughout the process, alterations will be made to this muslin to ensure a perfect fit. You will have 3-5 fittings of your dress once the muslin is created.

After the final fitting, your dress will be pressed and spot-cleaned and delivered to you in an archival box or garment bag.

Throughout the process of making your dress, we will get to know who you are as a person, the details of your ceremony, your favorite colors and infuences, etc., to help create a garment that is a reflection of you. After all, this isn't just another dress, and we aren't just another dress business.
We love our clients and make all of our garments with intense care so expect that we'll be as excited and teary at the final fitting as you are!
